Rusalin Iliev is a programmer and photographer in Varna, Bulgaria. He has spent more than 22 years building software for online businesses, and lately machine learning and automation systems. His photography work is mostly product photography for online stores and online advertising.

The studio grew out of that work. He couldn't find good enough imagery for the websites and online stores he was building, so he started shooting his own. His background in design and development still shapes the way he shoots: the images are made to work as website headers and ad banners first, and to look good second. He also helps e-commerce teams set up their own in-house studios, then trains the staff and stays available afterwards for advice or a shoot when they need one.

Rusalin works with Bulgarian fashion agencies and shoots tests and portfolio sessions for new models. His work has appeared in Western and Bulgarian print magazines over the past 10 years: the French fashion magazine MALVIE, two Marika covers, Top Posters, ELLE and Odisei.
