Why I shoot differently. Before photography, I spent more than two decades building software for online businesses. That background taught me to think about images not only as photographs, but as tools: images that have to work on a product page, in an advertisement, in a campaign or across social media.

The studio itself started out of necessity. I kept building online stores that had no decent product images, so I set up my own studio and learned to shoot the products myself. Today I photograph products, fashion and portraits for clients in Bulgaria and abroad, and I consult e-commerce teams on building their own in-house studios and training their staff.

I also partner with Bulgarian model agencies: for more than 15 years I have been shooting tests for new faces and portfolio sessions for working models. My work has been published in Western and Bulgarian magazines, including MALVIE, Marika and ELLE.
